Though I have to admit, I never understand why people are so terrified of mice. They're cute. Sometimes disease-ridden, but still cute and relatively harmless. No offense.
In the area where I used to work (and shall soon return) - which, may I remind you, is a clinical area where surgical patients are seen - there was a mouse infestation. Some of the other secretaries would jump on TOP of their desks when a little mouse ran by. I thought it would be better to leave them alive - they almost certainly emerged due to some construction and most likely would die off if we kept food locked up. Instead traps were placed around the cubicles and we had decomposing mice all around the department.
Yes. Much better and more hygienic - decomposition.
Decomp--gross. These mice are so light that they don't set off the snap traps and don't stick to the glue traps, AND they're too smart to eat the poison. John's pretty much waging war against them by sealing every hole he's found in the house and setting traps again--including one that got really good reviews online.
I wonder how much of being skittish around mice is wired into us and how much is culturally ingrained. I'm not a girly girl but I can't help but scream sometimes!
