I find a good topic for conversation at dinner parties, when all else fails, is the city you live in. Everyone loves to talk about the things they hate about their own city. Or the things they love. Either way.

hrm that could work, I mean she and her fiance are pretty chatty so I think I should be good...I'm just being a worry wart for no reason..I guess because I've never hung out with a co-worker on my spare time you know...

yeah, but i can't expect him to carry on the conversation the whole time. he hardly knows them! LoL. I'm sure it will be fine though. Viv is very chatty and so is her fiancee, I'm the least chatty of the bunch...actually I'm probably the least chatty out of everyone I know besides my dad! LoL.

yeah I know most of her hobbies from talking to her about them at work. but I don't know them extensively, just sort of in passing...good idea... :)

If I had gotten this before I went for the dinner it would have been helpful..oh well...thanks though. :)

Truthfully some of these issues we talk about work a lot. But we also talk about Baby Suri Cruise and all that other useless shit....*shrugs* kind of sad..

Well, it's not BANNED discussion by any means- but I've been watching the news a lot lately, and holy crap, the important stuff is totally neglected by the senseless pop-culture crap.
We all gotta do our parts by bringing it up though.
