This morning, I woke up around 6 AM in not the best of moods. Around 6:30, I tried to go back to bed, but couldn't fall asleep, so I lay in bed reading. About ten minutes into my read, I heard a quiet sizzling noise behind me. It was really short. That is the freakiest thing I've ever thought of. My worst fear is my house catching on fire. Because I'd have to save "Moose," a purple moose that I've had since birth. So after saying that I'm gonna go get Moose. He's in my bed somewhere...better go do that.

It was so scary; I was hyperventilating for ten minutes afterwards. If my bed were about an inch closer to the wall, it would have gone completely up in flames.

that's...weird as hell. :| i'd freak too. gotta love those times where something happens and you're like 'if i was only that much closer...' type of thing.
i remember when i was young and shoved a wire into an outlet and BANG POOF! cloud of smoke and sparks and a black mark on the wall.
