Before we moved to this new house, I never could just fall asleep on the couch...now, in the past few days, I've done it twice! I think it comes from the total relaxation I have been able to get here. I just fall asleep--like Amer can! I remember how yaj used to talk about how she could fall asleep during movies. i think falling asleep on the couch comes with total exhaustion and having someone to cozy up with. just wait until after kids... you'll be able to fall asleep doing almost anything!

Hope your Nellie works out. Dogs do require a lot more attention than Cats. But dogs are man's (and in some documented cases even woman's) "best friend." Anxious to hear the latest developments. Also, one can similarly fall asleep on a couch during the BBC news, after playing 18 holes of golf, after vacuuming the house, or during certain movies. There is also a strong correlation to age and even to the amount of alcohol consumed etc. ylretd
