Ace growled and kicked Smoker's shins as hard as he could muster. "Line thief," he pouted sulkily and went to bite the man's calf just to be a pain. "You can't reject me. I already rejected you."

Laughing harder, Smoker turned back to Ace and then smirked lazily. "Says the one who just got fucked by the person you rejected." He waved his hand dismissively and then moved to grab his book and another candle, then settling back down on the love-seat and opened it up and began to read.

"I rejected you to be the one to arrest me. There's a difference," Ace pointed out. He crawled onto Smoker's chest like a large cat, still determined to be a drunk nuisance. "What're you reading?" he attempted to wriggle his way under the book to sneak a peak into it.

Rolling his eyes, Smoker pushed Ace slightly away and showed him the black stained letter on the front of the leather bound book. "Sherlock Holmes, Portgas. Now will you mind?" He irately snapped his teeth at the black haired man and moved back to read.
