I was so good this morning... woke up, got to class on time... got to work... and completely fucked up 2 paintings in a row that I was trying to finish.... i was so frustrated that i left, and have been here since trying not to think about how much I feel like a failure. I feel like that about school all the time. For everything that I can see myself producing, I get more and more discouraged that I'm not saying what I want to say. But if you step back and look, it's probably indicative that you're growing as an artist and that you're aspiring to new goals. Did anyone good just naturally paint what they wanted to? No, real art comes from blood, sweat, and tears. I, for one, think your art is fantastic and I can't wait to see more. I also know what it's like to have a bad day and I hope you feel better soon. <3
