Of pillows and bolsters...

When I was young, I slept with 2 pillows and 2 bolsters on my parent's queen sized bed. The sleeping position was not exactly a nice sight too, head on 1 pillow, 2 bolsters flanking me with my legs resting on each of them (think birthing position with legs on stirups) and the last pillow right at the bottom, more for security reason than any ( Read more... )

My other friends said that I should have let Nic sleep in the cot longer so as to train her not to roll all over the place...well don't know how true it is...anyway too late :(

guess this kind of thing cannot train one? Sarah has been sleeping on our bed recently. Before that she sleep on her own single size(actually slightly smaller than single size) bed in her room. The bed has this rail thing around the bed so that she wont fall down. But she still end up sleeping with us and sleeping in 360degree pattern :P

Well maybe you are right, I didn't in sleep in a cot when I was a kid and yet I don't roll 360 degrees!

I find that Ethan will sleep 360degree pattern when he has a big space. But he's OK when he sleeps between Peter and I.
btw, we don't use bolster. We hug our pillows. Now, I need 3 pillows (one for head, one to hug and one for the legs) but when I was pregnant I need 5 :D

Big or small space, Nicole still rotates 360 degrees!

Currently hubby also uses 1 pillow to double up as bolster while for me...once Nicole is in deep sleep, I will 'steal' over 1 bolster for use cos I still prefer bolster over pillow for hugging ;p
