We all know that this park is built to cater to the Mainlanders, so we cannot complain much if we choose to go there!

I'd came across pax not queuing for their turns or refusing to sit down when the fireworks started which got a few Hongkongers pretty upset leading to an exchange of words (literally competing with the fireworks) *LOL*

Thanks for your comments, I usually only let down my hair when in aircon place, else most of the times its tied up into a pony tail :)

wow... lucky girl! So do you think it's worth the trip? did you stayed 2/3 nights in hollywood hotel and then check-out and move to another hotel in HK city?

Yes we stay 2 nights at the Disney Hollywood Hotel then moved to YMCA near Mongkok for the rest of the trip.

Try to go during their off peak period, you get the whole park to yourself and less mainlanders to compete with! We chose 2 days so that we can take things easy and play to our hearts content, we watch all the shows, 2x the parade, 2x fireworks and rides!

Definitely not last week of Sept to 1st week of Oct, China's golden week holdiday! But surprisingly we thought Good friday the park would be packed but instead they lost to Ocean Park, Disneyland was so empty! Maybe can try early Dec when the weather is cooler.

I guess we were all busy with work lately, me also haven't been able to catch up on my friends' postings too!

Well HK is only about 3.5 hrs away and if you just want to visit DL only, I guess it isnt that hard since the airport and DL are on the same island! The next public holiday is coming in Aug *wink wink*
