The penguin parade is the main draw of this zoo during winter, I don't think they exercise the penguin in summer where the ground can be hot!

You should make a trip to Hokkaido at least once in Winter and another during Summer (to view lavendar). I have done the winter season, don't know when will the summer trip materialise ;p

Make a pact with hubby to go there (latest by) next year before Ryan starts primary school! No doubt you can still go after he starts primary school but maybe only in June and December (and then get to see more Singaporean overseas!!!) and also have to pay higher price too.

Hi, haven't hear from you for a long long time...what happen to your LJ account?

Nic did have tons of fun so much so that she didn't want to come home! The penguins are really adorable. Travelling to and fro took us 3 hours but its the cute factor that made me determined to pay a visit to this zoo! The zoo layout is different and no wonder they now make it to the most popular zoo in Japan, and can you imagine they were struggling to keep visitorship a decade ago! Thumbs up for the zookeepers!

Ha! You still remember me ah, hehe.

Lj account - closed for very long time already.

So much fun, who wants to come back, rite? :-)

3hrs! Wow! That's really a very long journey. But it's always an eye-opener to visit all kinds of places when we go travelling. There's always something different and interesting.

Btw, Nicole is in N or K1?

Of course I do, in fact you hv two LJ a/cs if I can recalled correctly. Why dont you sign up again and get a easy to remember password so that you can see our replies directly via your email so that you wont have to go to individual LJ posting to see the replies.

Yes travelling is really fun especially if you read and plan the trip yourself instead of joining the tour group.

Nic is in K1 now.

Thank you.

Yes, in fact loved the cold weather! Her reply is still very consistent even when we ask her (like this morning) where she wants to go to for the next holiday ---> SNOW PLACE! To her SNOW PLACE=HOKKAIDO.

We also didn't know how she would take it before the trip but all our worries are uncalled for, for she enjoyed it soooo much! Yep, she came back ok.

Maybe you can start with trips to Snow City to see if Megan like the coldness before planning any trip to cold countries? BTW, you can also go to Japan during other seasons if Megan cannot take the cold.
