i am oso doing PV for my boy. started since june & clocked 30 hrs liao! kekeke it was fun doing PV for this school. spent whole day PV for their open hse & another day for art sale. they have regular baking classes for kids as young as P2! so i PV for that whenever i can (every classes 4 hrs) i got a nice lady boss who allows me to go off halfday. else i doubt so i wld be able to clock so many hrs within such a short period :)
Cheers! btw i am doing PV for my 2nd child. my 1st child is in P1 this yr. so weird rite? actually i did a big booboo for missing PV for him earlier hence he got into my 2nd choice of school. now for my 1st choice, i am told that it is not 100% guarantee that my child wld get in even after i clocked 40hrs. so will leave it to God :) both of them may eventually go to different schools as my 1st child is settling well into his school & my hubby is not keen in transferring him.
Yes PV is not a passport to the school of your choice! Read recently in the newspaper that a mum did 100 odd hours of PV yet she was not given a place in phase 2B as there were only 12 places yet 13 parents did PV! Really hope she managed to get in in phase 2C.
Why don't you let your second child study in the same school than you won't even need to worry about PV! Moreover they can look out for each other too.
hehe cos i still prefer my 1st choice mah :P very 'yim-chim' mummy hor. i really regret making tat booboo so dun wanna live in regret forever. at least i try now, if God feels they shdnt go, i wun force. i am happy doing PV though, cos i got make friends with 2 other parents and we are closed pals! & i even saw Pornsak, the MC who hosted the current Campus Super Star! so happening rite? he is an old boy from this sch and went bck to film it. hmm mayb i will be appearing in TV soon cos they recorded me hugging him wahahhaah kidding onli :P
