Cannot make it to 2008 round but I'll practise hard for 2012 Olympic Games ;p
Nah…we don’t expect her to swim competitively, just want her to learn the proper techniques so that she can enjoy the sports which she loves very much. Actually the decision to start her on lessons was after hearing some drowning incident on news some months back; so hubby asked me to enroll her for swimming classes.
Nicole went for a trial lesson at APS school that operates at ACJC on weekends but we waited and waited and waited till to date they still couldn’t fit us into our desired time slots. I gave up and called Aquaducks and what do I get... ...an immediate placement and what’s more at our preferred time slot too! They even coach with 1 kid and not wait till that they could gather a class of 4 before they start lessons. So far we went for 3 lessons at the Tanglin Village outlet ie the one that is next to St James Pre-school. I must say Coach Adrian has a way with the kids and very well-liked by them including Nicole.
So far Nicole enjoys her lesson tremendously and always looking forward to the next class.
