I'm going to start my first class at Concordia (haha) for the MAT program.  Woo.  It'll take me 2 years and 1 semester to complete (including student teaching).  The only thing that sucks is that when I do my student teaching I'll have to NOT be working... and therefore NOT making money.  AHHH!  That's

Personally, if I was you I would ask myself what I hoped to accomplish by telling friend #1 what friend #2 said. It is going to look a bit suspicious that you waited over a year to tell friend #1 what was said. I would keep my mouth shut unless friend # 1 came right out and questioned you about it. Usually friends who talk about people behind their backs get caught eventually. That is my opinion. I hope it helps. BTW....... you never said anything about your brother Tom. You were going to update on that. Did he get married yet?

You're definitely right. Truthfully, chances are my only reasons for telling friend #1 at this point would be that 1. I feel guilty for not telling her to begin with and 2. I want her to see what a bitch friend #2 is. Chances are if it was just some mundane crap she was telling about her or complaining about I wouldn't still be thinking about this... my biggest thing is that it was such personal, private, intimate things she was telling, I wanted to slap her for doing it. Then again, I typically want to slap her whenever I hear her name, so maybe that doesn't really mean anything. :-) I'm not one for disliking people... but in her case I guess I make an exception. As far as Tom's concerned... I don't know if he got married yet. :-( I haven't talked to him in a month. But I'll get to that another time.

I have to agree with the above comment. That is a really tough situation, but I think you should let it go. Besides the true nature of the "friendship" beween #1 and #2 will eventually come out...Also, it depends if #2 STILL says these things behind #1's back.. if this person is truely a HORRIBLE friend to that person, or if this person made a mistake...

Sorry to hear you and your Mom are on the outs.. I know how that hurts.. I knwo you didn't ask for advice on that but I'm gonan give it anyways. :-) Call her. Tell her you are sorry for snapping at her. Take it from me.. I wish I would have done that kidn of thing YEARS ago.. don't let it wait too long and try to be proud about it...She is your Mom and she LOVES you...Cherish the relationship you have with her..ok I'm done now...
