Moving The Community

Just wanted to gather some thoughts and opinions about possibly moving the comm to Dreamwidth.

With the new ToS coming in from LJ, a lot of the stuff posted or linked from here can fall under the banner of 'should not be posted.'

Do exactly that. Don't try to run the comm on two platforms - that is the way to madness.

And as you've pointed out, much - if not all - of the content is not in line with the new TOS.

If you need assistance getting the template set up on DW, please let me know. Flexible Squares - which is what this template is based on - is not native to DW, but can be imported.

Also - given the mass migration, the import of large comms with substantial comments and tags, may take time (like days). Last I looked, the import queue was in the hundreds and that was days ago.

I wish. You wouldn't move but it seems like everyone wants that I hope for cross posting or a mirror comm but that wishful was hoping to do this this year

I was hoping that it would be a mirror comm like nearly every other comm/personal journal is doing, but if there's no choice, then I'll follow there as well.
