i discovered the same problem this morning. over half the comms i moderate had to have that setting changed. :/ i get that they're trying to combat spam, but randomly changing our settings is NOT the way to do it.

do you mind if i C&P your warning to my journal? it's so nicely worded.

oh the home page, click "manage" under the community menu, then scroll down til you see "posting" or "posting access". you'll want it to say "Do Not Moderate".
