My name is Torbella, and my story begins just a few short months ago.
My parents received a note from a champion of the Horde Forces, requesting that they send me for training, that I might join the horde in the battle to reclaim our lands from the Alliance forces, who daily lay siege to our cities and towns. Apparently this adventurer had seen me and though I held some promise as a warrior. Eager to see life outside my families small farm I agreed and set off right a way.
The first few weeks of my training where relatively smooth. Though I am strong, and agile, I had no experience wielding weapons, an had no formal training in battle. After my initial training I was sent to the capital city of Orgramar where I was to report for duty and begin my service to Thrall strait away.
Boy was I nervous the first time I met him. I couldn't believe I was to speak to him in person, a young and inexperienced warrior like my self, but he was kind and very encouraging. I am now very busy with tasks for Thrall and the Horde forces, as well as keeping up my training. The Axe, the one weapon I have ever used, remains my favorite.
My curiosity about my patron grows daily. I know she is called "Enkata". She has been very kind, upon my arrival in Orgrimar I received a letter from her with some beautiful new packs, and an entire 2 gold (more money than I had ever seen in my life) with instructions to purchase the best armor I could find available to me. I have wonderful armor now, and had enough to purchase a new blue shirt, as well! Since then she has also sent me weapons, and instructions to learn certain skills, like first aid. Occasionally she requests things of me, sending me strange weapons and packages I don't recognize to place in my safe depost box, or to sell at the Auction. Sometimes she requests I send her things like linen, or wolf meat, and I would be annoyed with all these extra errands, but feel I owe it to her, for her kindness setting me out on this path. She promised my parents she would look out for me, and I would never want for any material possession, and for that, I can complete these simple errands for her. It's the least I can do.
I begin to suspect that she has others, like me, as often I will receive a note requesting I mail one of these strange weapons off to another. There are many names, I am constantly looking out for one of them. They may know more of her identity.
Early this morning I set off for the Tauren Capital of Thunder Bluff. It was a nice trip, much shorter than I expected. I was able to collect some of the wolf meat that Enkata has requested along the way. The sun was so bright and warm on my skin, and the grass and trees of Mulgore so inviting that I dawdled along the way to fish in a small lake.
Thunder Bluff was amazing, and a little overwhelming. The height of it made me dizzy, and it felt so un-protected, unlike the thick solid walls of my home in orgrimar. It's hard not to like a place with so many tauren though, and their large solid presences soothed me. I was there to train in guns, and found the weapons master right a way. I'm excited to try out my new skill. It turned out he also a master in maces, so I went a head and took those lessons as well, just in case.
Sadly, the extra time to fish, and train left me no time to look for Mokiya, a Tauren warrior (like my self) that I meet an the trainer a few days prior. I have many tasks waiting for me in Cross Roads, so I quickly located the Windrider Master and flew home. I am hoping I will run into that Tauren again, and will be watching for him as I complete my tasks and training.
For the Horde!
