WOW RP musings
So I started RPing on our guild forums. We have a few devoted RPers who some how ended up on Cenarius. And it looked like fun.
Thing is that character is really hard for me to RP with. To start with, I have no idea what her background is. I've tried a couple, but they just don't fit. Being she is undead, I 'spose thats ok. I can just have her not remember any of her life before crossing over, that works I think. But then the other thing is that, well she is kind of a bitch. Ok, really a bitch. And a loner, and she has a HUGE ego. And well, I just don't, and it makes it hard for me to play her in character because everything she would do would NOT be what I would do. For example, I love helping guildies, but Enk would NEVER do that.
I've tried changing her character, but well, it just doesn't work. Is that weird? All my characters have their own sort of personalities that don't seem entirely directed by me. I'd probably ditch her if she didn't ROCK so much from a PvE/PvP stand point.
Torbella, on the other hand. She is easy. I get her character more, understand her motivations. And she is more fun to RP. Could be because she IS fun. I made her an ambitious, optimistic, and kind of neieve, fresh-off-the-farm kind of girl. She is 17ish and a little bit boy-crazy. So a fun character to play, but to bad that warrior class is so freaking hard and frustating. I sux at warrior, so my playing her consists of mostly running around and talking to people, which , seeing as Cen. is NOT a RP server, means that most people thing I am very very strange. (ok they are right.)
