So, part of having a house in town is that the kids can have their friends over. :) this is a good and bad thing. More good for them. I guess. I seem to have picked up an extra kid. I don't know. Its weird. I don't like sand getting in my shoes and I don't even want to touch it with my hands. Beach sand is just fine. I love beach sand. There is just something different and ick to me about sandbox sand. (which is why we have never and will never have one. my kids will have to play in rice)

on the sand front...the playground at the boys' school is all sand and everyday it falls out of their shoes, pockets, everything in my car and all over the house! i hate it! if we lived on a beach it would be one thing...
