Merry Christmas anonymous December 21 2006, 16:27:13 UTC
Well, Merry Christmas to you...or should I say Happy Holidays to be politically correct. J/K This is Missy btw. I agree with mostly everything you say about the world being blind to everything around us. I however believe that the world isn't really "blind" as much as just ignoring it. Personally, I try to give all year round, not just Christmas. I do the Race for the Cure on Mother's Day and have given to the Children's Diabetes Fund. For some reason though, it doesn't feel quite as good as being able to make someone's Christmas. For me, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Mostly because we "should be" celebrating the birth of Christ. Granted that with all the cooking, shopping, wrapping, and socializing it does get to be stressful. However, the true meaning of Christmas has been lost due to our ignorant and greedy government.

Ok, so now I am ranting about this too. I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a horrible feeling about Christmas. I hope things get better, and just remember that it only happens once a year.
