Yeesh... people, I swear.

I'm a little amazed by how resistant internet users have become to the offer of free stuff.  It's like the fact that EVERYTHING is free on the internet has resulted in them treating their time as a precious commodity.  Josh Lesnick (aka superhappy) has complained about this in the past with his comics, and after releasing my latest homebrew game to ( Read more... )

You're not reading my site, obviously.

I'm working on it, though. I've got posts up over at AtariAge, and contacted the folks at PDRoms, Indie Games, and Auntie Pixelante. Good start, eh?

(If you have other suggestions, this is where you'd make them.)

Jess, when it's out of beta, let me know, and I can get you some extra eyeballs.

I'm loving it so far, even though it's kicking my butt.

XD I agree with the above statement. Convincing people to try afew different FREE MMOs has been like moving a mountain at times.

Unfortunately my attempts to run it in VisualBoyAdvance have ended poorly. I can't shoot and my spaceship teleports to the top of the screen and insta-dies and the enemies don't spawn in on the first stage. Weird.

You need to update your copy of VisualBoy Advance if it's giving you problems. I've tested the game exhaustively on VBA 1.7.2 and it works fine there, although I've tried it with earlier versions and the game acts a little strangely with them.

I'm hearing issues from other people who've played the game on a 3-in-1 cartridge, that seem to stem from a faulty header. It's likely an issue with how Dragon BASIC is compiling the game. Someone from the GBAdev.org forum was kind enough to squash one of the bugs in Dragon BASIC, making the game more energy efficient. Maybe he can address this issue as well.

The latest build should address a lot of the issues you're having, but as I mentioned earlier, *update your copy of Visual Boy Advance!*
