Good morning Tokyo,
starting with a clear sky and mount Fuji rising from the concrete.
Just like last summer I'm staying in Japan for a couple of weeks. I'm working most of the time but in between appointments I try to enjoy Tokyo.
It's a good thing I love my job because for Valentine I had a long talk with my boss, who is also my best friend. It amazes that somehow I changed from having dreams and hopes about my future to being a 'grown' person. I never noticed growing up, but here I am, working, eating out and spending a lot of time in cabs just like real adults do.
Today I went for lunch in
Crayon house, where they serve organic, macrobiotic and mostly vegetarian food in a big restaurant/bookshop. I love this place.
On my way back to the office I visited the
local museum and saw some marvelous woodblock prints from
Hiroshige and Hokusai. I especially loved the orchids.
I miss Yukipon. I couldn't explain to my colleagues why I am down, but my heart isn't here. I'm so happy to have a friend like her, I miss her terribly.
