In the end he turned out to be just as horribly epically tragic a personage as I'd expected. Poor Snape.

True, he even died for nothing because Voldemort and Albus were both wrong. Maybe it's a nice thought he was looking in Harry's Lily's eyes. (but JK Rowling couldn't have pushed the knife any deeper.)

I really love your artwork.
re-posting your art made me bawling all over again and grinning at the same time
(as did the whole "the Prince's tale" chapter)...

well, since HBP I had been sure that Snape will die - but it totally shocked me,
how unspectacular and (sort of) unnoticed his death by Nagini's poison had been.
worse: in the end his death had been unnecessary, because he hadn't been the master
of the wand.

I expected it too, and I sort of kept cool all the way trough his death until Harry dove into the pensieve, after that I just couldn't take it, it would have been more gentle to cut my heart out with Bella's knife. Poor Snape, I really liked him.

the only positive thing I get out of the book right now is that Snape is free now,
even though he deserved more and really happy years.

but after (DD) "After all this time ?" (SS) "Always." he just wouldn't be happy since Lily
is still dead, the memory of his betrayal would still be there and I dunno-what-horrid memories
he collected during the last years with the resurrected Voldemort will haunt him, too.

at least we have the fandom who will take good care of Sev with words and graphics...

What a sad life he led. Such a waste of a brilliant mind, he could have been so much more. Poor Snape.

I hope he had some good years at Hogwarts when Voldemort was in Albania and Harry far from his existence. I wish his Potions book wouldn't have been burned either. It's all terriby sad.

Oh dear yes, his book. :(

I apologize for commenting like this (anonymously), but I dont have an LJ.
I've been in love with you fanart for quite some time now and just want to tell you how grateful I am that you draw these pictures.
That dead Snape one was already one of my favourites but seeing it together with the others now makes me feel like crying all over again :´( Oh dear, they're all breaking my heart now, his bruise and how he's looking so earnest and concentrated building that snowman.
Your pictures always touch me.

Thanks Mnem <3

I'd say I'll miss the old bastard, but I know he's not gone -- he'll live on in the hearts and minds of fandom, as well as our fan works.

The snowman one utterly melted me, though. *hugs wee snape*

God, it's so sad and tragic but despite it, really beautiful.
Just like his life.
