An Inconvenient Truth

Watched the movie "An Inconvenient Truth" last night and trust me 100% when I say anyone who hasn't seen this movie yet NEEDS to see this movie. I thought, oh sure It'll be the same things I've heard before, but honestly no ... it was absolutely shocking. Definitely a wake-up call.

apparently gore is full of the proverbial shite ...like he's supposed to be a huge environmentalist even though these companies he has close ties with are huge contributors to pollution lol.

That very well could be, I don't know much about the man personally. Seems to me though that if he had a vested interest in high-pollution companies that he'd just be shooting himself in the foot with this movie. Either way it doesn't make the points made in the movie any less valid. There is a very serious problem with climate change right now. If you haven't seen the movie give it a watch and then we'll have a good conversation about the whole thing.

I heard he based his movie on a book that was totally discredited - not like ive read too much into it myself just hearsay or whatever still kinda funny if you think about it *shrugs*

Ya, not so much interested in "I heard"s. Got a reference on the book being discredited, or even the link between the book and the movie?
