Isogon was on the phone with Magdemon yesterday, and Magdemon had expressed interest in seeing one of our old family videos. Isogon and I began the daunting task of finding the right tape among our dad's multitude of poorly-labeled tapes. We eventually abandoned

Our dad's a Republican. He often listened to Rush Limbaugh. Just not usually with Barney providing the visuals.

Oh yes. We get National Review and everything. If there's an especially witty article, sometimes he'll read it aloud during dinner. I think he, like me, is actually more Libertarian (my mom occasionally accuses him of being anarchist), but of the major parties, the Republicans work with that much better than the Democrats.

We'll have to have a movie night.
