You may (or not) know the works of Aubrey Beardsley. A perfect Potter book, as in my dreams, would have some illustrations done by him.

Me and my friend were just talking about that interview yesterday, and how she seems so horrified and uncomprehending that someone might want Snape to fall in love, and we agreed that if she doesn't want us to crush on Snape, she shouldn't make him the most competent person in her universe, carrying a crushing burden of guilt and being a double agent at great personal risk, AND have him played by Alan Rickman in the movies. Like, what does she expect?
