Player name: Ky
Characters played: In Su (apping Juan Pedro Ramos Cordaval 7♣ as well)
Character Name: Mitchell Moore (AKA Mitch, M&M)
Age: 21
Suit/Rank: 4♥
History:
Mitchell's grandparents (Charles and Eliza Moore) moved to the deck from northern England when they were in their 30s with their eldest son (Wallace, 8) and daughter (Clara, 3), who were both young children at the time. They were on their way to a vacation in Scotland when their car appeared in the Deck when Mr. Moore got lost on his way to their destination. Originally they thought it was some kind of theme park, but after having been introduced to how the deck operated, they decided to stay. Mr. Moore had actually lost his job just before the vacation, and the vacation was a way to take a break before he went to look for another job as a clerk in a bank to assure the safety of his family.

Ending up in the deck was actually a source of relief, since his skills were useful and it was easy enough for him to find a job as a clerk at Heart Castle. They moved right in, since they had plenty of their own things with them, and made themselves at home. Mrs. Moore was a home maker, but since the castle had operating dining halls and schools for the young children she split her time between her hobby of painting watercolors of landscapes, gardening roses, playing card games, and keeping house. They had a further 2 children in their time on the deck. 2 more girls (Mary, 4 years younger than Clara, and Adeline, 1 year younger than Mary. Both of them left the deck to move back to England in their 20's).

It also turned out, once they moved into the deck, that Charles' middle sister had somehow managed to be there as well. The family had already settled into the hearts by that point, but at a social function several months later, he met another lady by the name of Mrs. Fioro who looked strangely familiar. Charles had been an accidental pregnancy from his parents who were in advanced years. But when he was 4 years old his middle sister, Elaine, at the age of 16 had run away from home and vanished. He had seen photos of her, as he grew up, and this Mrs. Fioro strangely resembled her.

After conversation, they found each other out to be related, brother and sister, in fact. But since he was so young when she had disappeared, they were not in fact close by any means, and he was far her junior in age. They were also in different suits, and they kept their relationship on the down-low since it didn't really matter in the Deck. But Elaine's granddaughter came to be the queen of diamonds for a period, before a rather violent altercation, though by that point, the children and grand children of Charles and Eliza had no idea of their relationship to one another.

Mrs. Moore didn't advance very much but Mr. Moore challenged up to the level of 5♥ before he passed at the age of 56 from a heart attack.

The son married another heart at the age of 22 (Maryanne, 21), a first generation heart the Outside, but unlike his father he didn't go into accounting but was one of the culinary staff within the heart dining hall. He works there to this day, and helps in the food preparation under Cooper Eliott. He is a 7♥, which surpasses his fathers own rank, and he's only 47. The 2nd generation Moores have 2 sons (Charles after his grandfather, 23, and Mitchell, 21), the second of which is Mitchell. Mrs. Moore is a math teacher in the local school, and she teaches trig and algebra to the 6-8th graders, she is a 5♥.

Mitchell is not very good at math, actually, he's not very good at much schooling. In Highschool he was a pretty consistent C student, and the reason for this is that he tends to be a bit fanciful and easily distracted when his imagination is not engaged, and has a hard time concentrating on his homework. He's a bit dopey all the same, and while he's surrounded by a fantastical atmosphere with medieval regal tones, he prefers to play table top RPGs of the modern 'Outside' variety, and games with horror elements that involve supernatural creatures.

He and a few of his high school friends play every week. But while he was in high school, he was persuaded to join the theater group as a backstage deck hand by one of his gamer friends who was already part of the scene, and he enjoyed the fast paced environment of the job which kept him interested and focused, and also the fanciful themes of the plays they conducted which often inspired his tabletop gaming whenever he ran adventures. So, when school was over, he joined the real theater troupe as a deck hand where he works to this day. He helps run the lights when its needed and operates as a sort of stage assistant to the behind the scenes manager. This means he's a gopher, he helps with set construction, he makes sure everyone is on the wings for their cues, and helps with lines when necessary.

It was in the theater troupe that he met Hadyn, and because of their similar indie fashion senses, and their same-suited-ness, that they became friends. Mitchell is nerdy, if not 'smart in school', and he's a bit shy about relationships, so he's still a virgin. He's cute but goofy looking, because of his body build which he's still sort of growing into, and because of his raucous guffawing and cheesy personality he's not really helping himself much in the romantic department.

He's challenged up to four in a series of short steps.
His first challenge was one of his high school peers, whom he challenged in a game of rock paper scissors. He won this, on pure chance, really. He was counter challenged into a game of war, which went on for something like 5 hours, but he managed to win by luck with his last card, fueled heavily by uber caffeinated soda. This made him a 3♥.

His second challenge was to his acting troupe RP buddy. They had a min-max munchkin RPG tabletop combat session between their characters. They could create any character type they wanted, and then would go into a combat situation 'to the death'. They rolled fantasy characters for this, Mitchell rolling a barbarian type character with rippling muscles and a double handed sword, his friend Jacob rolling a warlock magic user. The combat was actually rather grueling, and the session lasted 2 hours, but Mitchell won through a series of lucky rolls and magic resistance bonuses. The counter challenge was even sillier. They had a burp off, after drinking several sodas, and Mitchell emerged victorious by a landslide due to a natural talent for soda consumption and lots of practice at burping for fun on his free time. He rose to the rank of 4♥ that way.

He doesn't feel much pressure to go much higher yet. He is young and his parents are not big on pressuring their sons. He is loosely considering his neck challenge, and thinks he might do some kind of board game, but still hasn't decided who to challenge or which game to choose.

He still lives at home with his parents. His older brother moved out, living with a few of his older friends in town. They are all in a band together, and they figure living together will help with the whole 'making music' thing. But really, they hang around, drink, and play video games mostly.

Personality:
Mitchell is a goofy kid. He tends to laugh ridiculously, and often snorts when he does. He is silly, and a bit childish. He's often naive, since he hasn't been exposed to much violence or adult material in general. His family tends to protect their children well, and they are all light hearted, sweet people. Since none of his relatives are particularly combative, it helps to maintain an air of innocence in his demeanor, also being a virgin helps in this department.

He's nerdy, he enjoys silly things like video games, board games, card games, burping, you know... young guy stuff. He likes feats of fancy, such as story telling, reading, and plays/movies. He's also fairly honest, and his personality is personified in his wardrobe. He wears bright colors, shirts with funny sayings or indie humorous prints, and is always easy to talk to and to share a laugh with.

He's awkward around girls though, because he only has a brother and never really developed a knack in how to talk to them. If you had to describe his approach to them, it's a bit of the mild crush leads to awkward bullying. You know the "you look funny... tee hee hee hee hee, runaway!" kind of thing. He also tends to ramble about his tabletop RPG feats and games which probably turns them off, but he has no idea what to say to them otherwise. If he says anything to them at all.

He's a sweet kid, willing to help out a friend in need, and he knows how to share what he has. He's fairly cheesy in general, though.

Appearance:
5'8, bright red hair, blue eyes, sometimes a peppering of very red facial hair. He tends to wear black mixed with denim and colorful colors in the indie fashion.
He keeps his hair a bit like a mop, rarely remembering to cut it to a suitable short length.
He tends to go between average to slightly thick or portly, depending on whatever and isn't very athletic. His weight gain is from drinking too much soda and doing a lot of 'sitting activities' like playing table top roleplaying games.

Character PB:
Rupert Grint

Why this Suit?
The Moore's are a heart family, and he's a second generation deck baby. He's not very motivated to advance, he's still a young guy, and he doesn't see any reason to make a change at this time. Also, he's part of the theater troupe as a deckhand, and since a lot of them are hearts and these are his friends, he's pretty comfortable in the suit he's currently in.
