Part 1

They manage to get all fifteen members together at the airport, although Heechul wishes there was no one else there, or that he wasn’t there, then. Most of them are chatting animatedly, Leeteuk and Hankyung are teasing each other about something to do with leadership that Heechul doesn’t really want to know about, and he hears Yesung and Ryeowook talking to Henry while Shindong, Sungmin and Donghae try to do something with Eunhyuk that is related to making funny faces, and Heechul also doesn’t want to figure that out. Siwon has an arm draped over Kyuhyun’s shoulders, because the Christian is always hugging someone, really, and these two, together with Zhou Mi and Kibum, are watching the planes that land and the ones which take off as if it is the most interesting thing in the world.

“I’ll bet one month.” Kangin says beside him, but he’s looking at Leeteuk, which Heechul doesn’t really mind, because he doesn’t want to look anyone in the eye right now. There’s too much he has to conceal from the whole world.

“One month? What does it have to do with?” he asks, trying to sound amused, but Kangin knows him well enough to see past his smirk.

“Before either you go to China or Hankyung comes back.”

I’m not sure I can handle so long. But Heechul refrains the thought and widens his smirk, sending a sideways challenging glance at Kangin. “You’re underestimating me, raccoon.”

“Seriously, Cinderella, you can barely take some days without your Knight in Shining Armor.” Kangin’s voice has a comforting tone to it, though, and Heechul tells himself that’s the only reason he’s not going to try and strangle him right now.

It’s already hard as it is, after that stupid argument. I shouldn’t have said those things, but then again, Hannie was asking for it.

“Oy, here he comes. I’ll take that as my cue to leave you two alone. Just try not to suck each other’s brains out, okay?”

Heechul just glares at him, and Kangin gives him one of his famous grins back. He doesn’t miss the way Kangin makes the others move a little further from where he’s standing, but he misses everything else because Hankyung is in front of him now. There’s an awkward silence between them, something that definitely shouldn’t be there, and Hankyung has his hands in his coat pockets instead of trying to touch Heechul and the whole scene screams wrong.

Heechul bites his lip and pokes Hankyung in the arm, so that the Chinese will finally look at him, and he’s the only one that Heechul really shares an honest gaze with that day. Heechul’s huge eyes are the only way for Hankyung to know that he’s sorry, that he’s gonna miss him, that he has no idea of what to do right now and that he hates it, and that he doesn’t say anything because he’s actually afraid of falling apart right there.

Hankyung pulls him into a hug, a tight one, and if it weren’t so cold and they were wearing less clothes, he would probably make a remark about Heechul’s bones digging into his flesh all over. This time, though, he leans in to breathe into Heechul’s neck and give a secret kiss just below his earlobe. Heechul grips his arms, not in warning, but for the sole reason of needing more, much more than that.

“Wait for me,” Hankyung whispers against his ear, and Heechul nods, since there isn’t anything he can say other than all the billion things stuck in his throat, but it’s too late and Hankyung’s parting and really leaving him alone now.

I hate you for what you’re doing to me, Heechul’s eyes say, and Hankyung simply smiles at him, because he knows, he’s always known, and that has to be enough for both of them.

XXX

“First of all, I don’t really want to do this.”

Hankyung pauses, because that’s a strange way for Heechul to start a conversation on the phone. They haven’t even greeted each other yet. Well. Maybe this is too serious for small talk. It’s been days since their last call, and Hankyung has been craving for Heechul’s voice and Heechul’s antics and everything.

Whipped, that’s what you are, Geng.

He hears Heechul taking a deep breath on the other end of the line, and Hankyung holds his own. Something tells him he’s not going to like this. “I’m…I think we should stop this-this thing between us. I don’t know how to put it, we haven’t really talked about us being together or something, but-look, Hannie, it’s not working. You know that, right? You’re in China, I’m in Korea, I don’t know when we’re gonna see each other again, if that’s ever going to happen, and I can’t stand this. And…this is what you wanted, right? Being back home, I mean. You’re building a career there now, so that you don’t really need to come back here if you don’t want to. So. Yeah. I think that sums it all up.”

Hankyung is so shocked that he can’t say anything for a long time, and people rush past him on the sidewalk, some scowling at him and others complaining because he’s blocking the way. What the hell are you talking about, Hee? This is not the best place to talk to Heechul, much less about this, but he’s not going to hang up-not the phone, neither on his crazy, lovely, stupid, stupid friend, or lover, or whatever you call two people who make out more often than not and have been repressing some feelings for way too long already.

“Heechul. You’re not-this doesn’t make any sense. Listen, I’m going back to the hotel right now, and…shit, what do you want me to say? Why are you proposing such a-”

“I get that your Korean’s gotten worse since you went to China, but let me say it again, Hannie. You and I. It’s over.”

“I understood that,” Hankyung mumbles, voice low, and he tries to keep on walking, but he can’t. He looks around, trying to spot a place to go-somewhere quiet, paparazzi-free, but what he really wants is to get back to the hotel as soon as possible. He turns on his heels and starts marching back to where he has parked his car, making a mental note to apologize to Donghae for not renting the DVDs he’s asked. “But at the same time, I didn’t. Just tell me why you’re doing this. And on the phone, Heechul?”

“Well, we can’t really see each other right now, and that’s exactly one of the reasons I just mentioned. You don’t have to sound so hurt, Hannie, it’s not like we were dating or something. It was just for fun, right? So. You can have fun with Siwon if you want, or Henry, or Donghae-”

“Don’t you ever say that again,” Hankyung interrupts, voice dangerous as the anger takes over his pain, even though now he knows why Heechul is saying all this bullshit. “Look, even Mandarin wouldn’t be enough to express just how-offended I am by what you just suggested, Heechul.”

“You forgot the swear words in Korean, too? You’ve been there for one month, Geng, I can’t believe-”

Hankyung swallows and tries to focus on the rational part of his brain that keeps reminding him that Heechul is acting like this to protect himself, but it’s hard. “Shut up, Heechul. Shut up. I know why you’re doing this. And I’m telling you, I’m not gonna give up on you just because you’re jealous of Siwon.”

Heechul is silent for some time, and Hankyung can breathe again, though he’s still far from calm. He finally reaches his car, gets in and closes the driver’s door with more strength than intended. He needs to let some of the anger out; otherwise he won’t be responsible for his next actions. At least he’s conscious enough not to drive.

“I wondered why you didn’t answer my calls, and why it troubled you so much when I told you that Donghae was gonna share a room with Henry, while Siwon and I would have single rooms. I trust you, Heechul. But it seems that it doesn’t work both ways.” Hankyung tries to think of a way to persuade Heechul, but the latter is faster than him when it comes to talking, especially in Korean, of course.

“It’s not my fault that you two look so comfortable around each other. And seriously, Geng, you’re different with him. You relax and act like a freaking infatuated school girl, and you two keep teasing and touching each other, and I can’t-I can’t take it, okay. Is that what you wanted to know? Fine. I’m jealous, yes, but don’t tell me I have no right to be, because I’d have to consider you blind, then.”

Hankyung closes his eyes and rests his body against the seat, feeling as though his energy has been drained out of him. “And you thought breaking up was the best way to solve the problem…” he utters, still half flabbergasted at his Heenim’s actions. It could be funny, if it weren’t so infuriating.

“There was not much left to do.”

“You could have talked to me. Like we’re doing now.”

Heechul’s silence shows that Hankyung got it right to the point, but the Korean is fast to recover. “I didn’t want to fight with you, okay? I’ve been-trying to find a way around this, but I can’t. Fuck, Geng, do you really have to act as if you are in love with him?”

Hankyung chuckles bitterly, because he doesn’t want to fight with Heechul either. “Remember what you told me once? ‘What happens on stage, happens on stage.’ Does it only apply to you flirting with every person that dares look at you with something akin to interest, and not to me being friendly with Siwon?”

“You’re not being friendly. You’re being utterly gay. It’s like you and me, only you took my place and Siwon yours, and we never hug each other so much, and I haven’t tried to kiss you on stage. Yet. Not really. But I could have, because you’re mine.”

Usually, Hankyung would complain about that ‘claim’, even if it was just to tease Heechul, but he decides against it, at least this time. It seems that he’s making some progress with Heechul and he doesn’t want to ruin it so easily.

“Geng…?” A sigh. “I hate you. I really do.”

He smiles faintly, letting out a breath he’s been holding for a while. “I know. We really need to work this whole jealous thing out.”

“Easy for you to say.”

No, it’s not. “You’re not gonna stop flirting with whoever you feel like, and I’m not gonna stop hugging Siwon or anything, because he’s like a brother to me and-you can’t ask me to change the way I behave around him, just as I can’t ask you not to be yourself, Hee.”

“Can’t you at least not be so eager about it? Touching Siwon, I mean.”

Hankyung snorts, amazed by Heechul, which is not something new. “I’m not eager to touch him.”

“It looks like you are.”

“Only because you want to see it that way.”

“What? I don’t. The only thing I want to see is your naked ass in my bed, but I think that’s not going to happen soon enough. Anyway, if you really want to touch Siwon so bad, go ahead and do it. I’m sure Donghae’s gonna be thrilled. No more than you two, of course.”

“Wait-Heechul? You’re not angry again, are you?”

Heechul pauses, and Hankyung hopes he’s not undergoing another one of his sudden, unexplainable mood swings. “I don’t know. Maybe. Look, I know we-this is not just for fun. I know. But I can’t help it, okay? I hate it when you’re there. And ‘hate’ means ‘hate’ here, it’s not me saying something but meaning another. I hate it. And I’m sick of pretending that everything’s okay, because it’s not. See? That’s why I didn’t want to talk about it. I guess I should hang up now.”

“Hee-”

“Anyway. How was your day? I didn’t call you in the middle of a press conference, did I?”

Hankyung covers his mouth but doesn’t suppress the brief laugh that shakes him, maybe because Heechul is acting like Heechul again and everything should be fine. It really should.

Zhou Mi is trying to teach Siwon how to say that he can play the drums, in Chinese, since the hosts often ask them about their skills and, usually, the only thing they mention is that Siwon is a good actor. It doesn’t seem so hard when Zhou Mi says it, but Siwon has a hard time getting the pronunciation to be really good, or as good as he wants. On the other side of the room, Kyuhyun is watching a movie, sometimes talking to them, but otherwise remaining quiet, though Siwon sees the not so subtle looks that he gives Zhou Mi, who doesn’t seem to mind and who also smiles suspiciously when Siwon questions him with quirked eyebrows and a teasing smile of his own.

“We’re going back to Korea!” announces an over excited Donghae, who’s entered the room and thrown his arms around Siwon, making both of them tumble to the ground. Siwon’s more than used to his random actions, while Zhou Mi observes them with some curiosity and Kyuhyun continues watching his movies. When Hankyung, Henry and Ryeowook appear at the door, though, Zhou Mi takes his eyes away from the couple and Siwon gets to gently take Donghae from over him and make them both sit on the floor.

“It’s actually for just a few days, but…” Hankyung says, but there’s a determined look on his face that tells Siwon-and the other five members, since they’ve all been testimonies to Hankyung’s attempts at trying to get Heechul to talk to him-what he really plans to do by going there. They look at each other and Siwon grins, because he’s genuinely happy for Hankyung, and he misses his parents and his friends, although they haven’t even spent half the time they planned to stay in China yet.

Siwon pulls Donghae to sit between his legs and hugs him from behind, and he feels Donghae’s surprise at the sudden display of affection. It’s not that they don’t hug in front of the others, but it probably has to do with the way Siwon is holding him now and resting his head against the side of Donghae’s neck as if he wouldn’t choose to be anywhere else. And I wouldn’t.

“Are you going to call the others and tell them, Hangeng Ge?” Ryeowook’s asking, already used to Henry’s way of calling their leader, who grins mischievously at him.

“I’m going to call Leeteuk and tell him something, so if he asks, you just confirm what I’ll say, okay?”

Siwon frowns curiously, whereas Donghae has his lips parted in wonderment, Ryeowook and Henry look lost and Kyuhyun goes back to watching his movie. Zhou Mi looks at Hankyung as if he already knew this was coming, so he just stands up and goes to sit next to Kyuhyun.

“What do you mean, he’s not coming?”

There’s this hardly contained desperation in his voice that makes Leeteuk look worried, so Heechul tries to pull himself together by mentally listing A Hundred Ways To Murder Hankyung And A Thousand Reasons Why.

“He said something about having to stay there because of the Olympic Games-”

“But that’s still months away from now!” Heechul hits the table with his fist and immediately regrets it. “Awww, my hand! Fuck! I’m going to kill that bastard!” He holds said hand close to his chest, massaging the area from the pinky finger to the pulse. Leeteuk seems scared enough of him not to make any jokes right now, so Heechul has some time to recover before freaking out again. “I don’t get it! You said they’re all coming! Why are Zhou Mi and Henry coming, if Hankyung isn’t? And he should have been able to get some time off, too!”

Leeteuk seems at a loss of what to say, so Heechul continues to put on a show and stands up so fast that his chair almost falls on the floor. He paces the kitchen-Leeteuk seems to think it’s the best place in the dorm to have this kind of conversation-and mutters begrudgingly to himself, wishing he had robes long enough that they would rustle and swish behind him every time he turned around, just like in the movies.

Are you trying to get back at me, Geng? Heechul stops walking, then, and scowls at the cupboard in front of him as if it were the Chinese there. I thought we could be fine, at least for a while, but if this is your way of handling things…

“You know, he could have meant ‘all the Korean members’ instead of ‘all the Suju M members’…” Leeteuk is saying, but it’s so inane that even he doesn’t seem to believe it.

“He should have come anyway,” Heechul says, half whining. He sits back on the chair as dramatically as when he stood up just some seconds ago. I’m not going to wait forever, Geng. Promises are promises, but there are also things like ‘too long’, ‘hurt’ and ‘fucked up.’ You’re making a mess out of me, damn it.

“I’m sure he’ll come as soon as he can, Heenim,” Leeteuk squeezes his shoulder and Heechul sighs, exasperated, unbelieving-he doesn’t really know how to feel or what to think right now. He leans on the table and rests his head against it, resisting the momentary urge to hit his forehead repeatedly against the wooden surface. He’s still not so far gone that he would run the risk of getting a bruise on his beautiful face.

“Are you sure you don’t want to come to the airport?” Shindong asks him by the end of the week, the day all members from Super Junior M except for their leader are supposed to arrive in Seoul and everybody seems too happy about it. Heechul resents their cheerfulness, and doesn’t try to cover it up for once, because by now they all know that he’s beyond furious that Hankyung is staying in China. He could have called Hankyung and taught him some things about how Heechul and ‘abandon’ are two things that do not go well together, but he decided not to give Hankyung the pleasure of knowing just how displeased he really felt-and still does.

“Are you sure I need to answer that stupid question again?” Heechul retorts, and Shindong finally gives up, along with all the others who have been tormenting him as if it were a crime not to go there. It’s not as if he doesn’t want to see the others-he actually misses Ryeowook’s gentle nature and Donghae’s randomness, just as he misses Siwon’s charming smile-jealousy put aside-and Kyuhyun’s laid back persona. He’s even got used to Henry and Zhou Mi being constantly around when they were recording the album Me… Not that anyone needs to know that.

Yesung says he’s going to ask Ryeowook to prepare something for Heechul when they come back from the airport, if their magnae is not too tired from the trip. When they finally leave, Heechul takes Heebum with him to the living room and watches some soap operas, which unfortunately do not seem so entertaining given his bad mood today. It’s already dusk by the time he gets tired of the TV and decides to go back to his room and surf on the Internet or play some computer games. He reckons the flight was delayed or his band mates simply decided to go out together, since it’s past the time they would be home, and Heechul even checks his cell phone just to make sure that nobody tried to call him or sent him a message.

“Looks like it’s just you and me, Bummie,” he tells his cat, who’s been on his lap for the past minutes. He’s almost thinking about calling one of the members to ask if everything’s okay, but Heebum jumps to the floor and distracts him by disappearing through the hallway. Heechul goes after him, because the cat is meowing insistently and has started scratching the entrance door. Maybe he wants to go out, but then Heechul hears the door lock being turned and it’s probably just the others arriving, except that it’s too quiet outside if you consider that thirteen people should be there.

When the door opens, though, it’s just one person standing there, the one Heechul wasn’t expecting and the one that he wanted to see the most.

“What the hell are you doing here?!” he yells at Hankyung, because Heechul is both astonished and angry for being tricked like this, but he’s also happy to see Hankyung standing there, so much so that he doesn’t know what to do first-should he punch, kick or throw himself at Hankyung and fuck him senseless?

Hankyung just smiles like the idiot that he is and closes the door, and Heebum tries to get his attention by twisting around his ankles, but he only has eyes for Heechul, who thinks it’s only fair. “Are you just going to stand there?” He has the audacity to tease him like that, and Heechul launches himself at him and hits him on the chest and on the arms, though they both know he’s not using real strength, but that’s not the point.

“You-son of a bitch! Why did you do this? Do you have any idea how pissed off I was when Leeteuk told me you wouldn’t come? Huh?” But Heechul lets Hankyung hold his pulses and kiss him half way through his tantrum-since it’s much better to feel and taste him like this than to hold on to his fury. Hankyung twirls him around and his right arm is still holding Heechul’s left pulse when they are chest to back and Hankyung’s breath sends shivers down his spine.

“I didn’t want to run the risk of getting us arrested if I jumped you at the airport,” Hankyung says, nuzzling his neck and pulling him closer against his body.

“Liar! I know you did this for the fun of it,” Heechul tries to get away, but it’s only halfheartedly, and Hankyung’s grip on him tightens, which is all he really wanted. Heechul looks to the side, trying to hide the smile that threatens to take over his face, but Hankyung doesn’t really notice, because he is still breathing against Heechul’s neck and caressing him with the tip of his nose, not bothered by the hair that probably tickles his face.

“Bedroom,” Hankyung whispers, and for a moment Heechul doubts he heard him right, but the Chinese is already moving forward, and thus Heechul has to walk too, otherwise they could fall on the floor-although Heechul wouldn’t really mind having Hankyung on top of him, no matter where. That’s probably why he doesn’t complain when Hankyung all but throws him on the bed after kicking the door shut and making sure that Heebum stays outside for once. Heechul grabs his jacket and pulls him, causing Hankyung to lose his balance and fall on the bed too. The two of them roll around for a while, tickling and teasing each other until Heechul gets to sit on Hankyung’s belly and the Chinese doesn’t try to retrieve his control over the situation.

“How long are you going to stay here?” Heechul asks, because he needs to plan how he’s going to make profit of every single moment he has of Hankyung’s presence.

“Under you? Still getting used to that,” Hankyung jokes, and Heechul slaps his arm, but they are both laughing. “Just a few days,” he says, some seriousness slipping into his voice, which lets Heechul know that Hankyung resents the short amount of time they’ve got as much as himself.

“But where’s your stuff?” Heechul didn’t see him carrying a bag or anything of sorts, but he only realized it now. The clothes he’s wearing-a charcoal suit with matching pants and a black button-up shirt that of course will make him look even sexier once he gets rid of the suit-are not proper for staying at home, and Heechul doubts he intends to wear the same damn thing every day. Although the possibility of a naked Hankyung in his bedroom due to lack of clothes is very interesting, to say the least.

“I met the guys at the airport and everything’s with them,” Hankyung explains and Heechul feels a swift pang of frustration for having his expectations destroyed like that. However, he feels Hankyung’s hands caressing his thighs as they talk, so he doesn’t have much time to lament about anything. Plus, Hankyung has an almost naughty smile on his face now. “You should have seen Leeteuk’s face when I showed up at the airport, it was almost as funny as yours when you saw me now.”

“I did not look funny! I looked fabulous and irresistible, and that’s why you couldn’t resist bringing me straight to the bedroom, you pervert.”

Hankyung lets out a delicious laugh that is cut short by him kissing Heechul with a passion so fierce and demanding that there’s no doubt left about how much he missed him. Heechul gasps when Hankyung caresses his neck and shoulders at the same time as their tongues battle and message each other in a mess of hot, humid and tender flesh. He starts unbuttoning Hankyung’s shirt before he’s even rid of the suit, but that’s not really a problem as long as he can touch that tanned skin, which is exactly what he does, fingers leaving invisible patterns down the other’s torso.

“You still owe me for making me lose my mind like that,” Heechul utters softly in between kisses, and Hankyung takes the chance to lick down to his Adam’s Pole, lightly biting his collarbone.

“I wonder how I can repay you,” Hankyung answers tauntingly, showing him a playful grin before moving his arms so that the suit would slide off his shoulders, but that’s as far as he goes.

Heechul’s eyes sparkle, and he can feel his blood rushing through his veins as they stare wantonly at each other. Hankyung shouldn’t have the power to be so naturally sexy, just like he shouldn’t be allowed to cause so strong an effect on Heechul. It could be rather dangerous.

Hankyung brushes his parted lips on Heechul’s left cheek, ruffling his hair as he does so. “What do you want from me, Hee?”

Wild sex, Heechul thinks to himself, for he doesn’t dare say that aloud. Not now, because he doesn’t want to spoil the mood, although the sexual atmosphere still has a mild humorous tinge to it, but he likes it that way. “Everything,” he states, giving Hankyung a provocative look of his own. It seems to work, as the other brings their mouths together again, only this time their kiss is slow, almost gentle, except that Heechul feels himself burning from the sensuality of it.

Together, they get rid of Hankyung’s suit and Heechul’s colorful t-shirt, and the latter relishes in the feeling of Hankyung’s warm hands gliding against his bare skin. Heechul doesn’t hold back either, as he touches Hankyung’s flat abdomen and pulls at his smoky black hair, completely ruining his style-although it was already messy from all their snogging, anyway.

Hankyung sits up on the bed to take off his own shirt, and Heechul almost stops him from doing it, because he wants to be the one to do it, but he also likes observing him, so that’s what he does this time. He gets on his knees in front of Hankyung and kisses his temple in a rare moment of tenderness that is totally worth it, for Hankyung nuzzles his chest and kisses his clavicle as a kind of hesitant reward. There’s a pair of hands tracing the sharp edge of his hips on the way to circling his waist, while Heechul explores Hankyung’s shoulder blades and uses his nails to draw non-existent circles on his back. It feels as if they are moving in slow motion now, and Heechul could find it funny if it weren’t for the warmth in his heart and the fact that there’s something special about this moment. He feels the brief tickle of eyelashes against his chest-right above his heart-when Hankyung blinks and maybe closes his eyes, and Heechul closes his own.

I love you. He doesn’t say it, nor does Hankyung, but the feeling is there, between them, around them, as if it were the air they are breathing.

“Did you really need to buy that can of pink paint today, Donghae?” Leeteuk asks as they arrive at the dorm, watching Siwon place the mentioned can in the hallway. It’s past midnight already, and the members of Super Junior are tired after trying to find the material that Donghae asked for, which seemed like a bizarre request and quite out of the blue, but they bought it anyway. They were also waiting for Hankyung to call them and say that they could already come home, but the Chinese never called, and whereas Leeteuk and some of them were worried that Heechul might have tried to kill Hankyung, the majority of them agreed that they gave enough time for the two to make up and do whatever they felt like doing after that.

“Yes, Leeteuk hyung,” Donghae answers, and he shares a look of accomplice with some of his band mates, something that Leeteuk doesn’t seem to be aware of.

“I clearly remember Heechul hyung saying that he wanted to paint the walls of his bedroom, and he wanted pink,” Eunhyuk says in order to help Donghae, but the latter has to bite his lower lip not to laugh at the idea, whereas Siwon covers his mouth and Henry chews on the inside of his cheeks.

Kangin looks at them with suspicion in his eyes, but since they seem to be planning a prank on Heechul, he just grins and anticipates it.

“And how do you know that this is the shade of pink that he wanted?” Leeteuk asks, because he doesn’t want to see Heechul having another one of his fits of rage, especially considering that Hankyung’s presence is probably the only thing that can keep him at bay.

Donghae opens his mouth to answer, but Sungmin speaks first. “He talked to me and Shindong about it.” And his face is so solemn that Leeteuk doesn’t doubt him for a second.

“Okay…I guess I’m going to sleep, then.”

They all wish a good night to their leader, and Kangin goes with Leeteuk, followed by most of them, until it’s just Siwon, Donghae and Henry in the hallway.

“So, who’s going to do it?” Siwon asks, arms around Donghae.

“I think Henry should do it.” Donghae suggests, nodding decisively.

“Why me?”

“Because you’re too cute for Heechul to do anything bad if he finds out, and he also knows how Hankyung is protective of you. And we’re together in this anyway, so Siwon can be your anti-Heechul-shield or something like that.”

Siwon looks strangely at Donghae, but the younger one just smiles at him, so that he has no option but to deal with it.

“What if one of them wakes up while I’m at Heechul hyung’s door?” Henry asks, because now this prank doesn’t seem like such a great idea anymore.

“I told you, Siwon is going to protect you. And I…I’ll fetch Kangin if it’s necessary.”

Henry sends a last hopeful look at Siwon, who just shrugs and tries to give him a reassuring smile. The violinist sighs, then, and does what he has to do.

Heechul wakes up to a faint, distant sound that might be laughter, and he opens one eye to take a peek at his surroundings. The first thing he sees is a furry face right in front of his, so he just murmurs something and rolls around on the bed, barely registering that it is Heebum and the sound was probably him meowing. But his cat is not happy with being ignored and Heechul soon feels him crawling over his body, and his paws warn him about the feline’s intent in using his sharp nails if necessary. He grunts, fully awake now, and shakes his torso for Heebum to get off, which he thankfully does, though only after meowing indignantly. Heechul hears a sleepy grumble that is not his own, and it seems to come from right next to him, so he forces himself to open both his eyes now. He’s presented with a naked back, a naked waist that leads to naked, tantalizing buttocks, and a pair of strong and also naked legs. His body recognizes Hankyung’s before his mind can register it, and he already feels his cock twitching by both the enticing sight, which he would gladly have as breakfast, and the memories from the night before and what he has already done to and with Hankyung.

His desire to do nothing more than touch and possess that body again is undermined, though, when he hears the same sound of laughter again. Heebum hisses from behind him and Heechul looks at the bedroom door, quite certain that the cat was not there the night before. He’s not sure if either he or Hankyung got to lock the door before getting too distracted by each other, so it is possible that someone opened the door to let the cat enter. However…that laughter stirs his suspicions and Heechul decides to check what is happening before losing himself in Hankyung again. He does dispense a heated, lingering gaze on Hankyung sleeping figure, before sitting up and stretching languidly. He feels slightly sore and tired, but he doesn’t mind it for once-he’s been waiting for this for so long, that he was feeling pain and weariness from not having it, so the change of source is very much welcomed by him.

Heechul puts on a pair of pink pajama pants and spends some time trying to find the shirt he was wearing yesterday, but his patience fades quickly and he grabs Hankyung’s black button-up shirt and doesn’t take the time to close all the buttons before opening the door of the bedroom and stepping into the hallway of the dorm. Heebum is at his feet, making distressed noises, and Heechul picks him up to try and calm him down, because he doesn’t want to wake Hankyung up yet, but the cat digs his nails into the fabric and Heechul holds him at arm’s length, scowling. “Why are you like this, Bummie? Did Kangin kick you again?” The cat just thrashes insistently in his hands, though, and Heechul frowns, because Heebum is not usually like that. He drops the cat to the ground, watching it walk slowly to the living room. Heechul closes the door of the bedroom, and it’s then that he sees it.

He’s shocked-only for a second, because his wrath is never slow to make him yell at none in particular and everyone that could be responsible for what he’s seeing.

“WHAT THE HELL! WHO DID THIS TO MY DOOR? I SWEAR I’M GOING TO KILL THE BASTARD.”

He’s pointing at the door with an outraged look on his face when a seemingly confused Kyuhyun shows up, sleepy eyed and wearing pajamas that Heechul thinks are slightly too big for him. But then he remembers that Zhou Mi and the rest of Super Junior M came along with Hankyung, so it makes sense.

“Kyu! Look at what they did to me!” Heechul knows he’s still talking loudly, but he doesn’t care, because someone dared write ‘GENG’S BITCH’ on his freaking door in huge bright pink letters, and he wants vengeance. However, Kyuhyun just stares at him with a bored expression, and Heechul throws his hands in the air, annoyed beyond limits.

But then he hears it again-the laughter-and it comes from the living room. He follows Heebum’s steps and almost bumps into Donghae, who’s cackling up so much that no sound comes out of his open mouth anymore and he doubles over, then sprawls on the floor, paying no mind to Heechul’s enraged look. When the older one looks to the side, though, he also sees Siwon and Henry laughing madly, making unconvincing comments about a supposedly funny program that they are clearly not watching right now.

“What’s the fuss all about?” It’s Leeteuk, followed closely by Kangin. The latter sniggers just by looking at the three crazy members, who are still having a lot of fun at Heechul’s expanse.

“Did you see that?” Heechul growls as he points at the door again, but regrets the action as soon as Leeteuk lets out one of those weird laughs of his and Kangin quickly joins him. Before Heechul can do anything, the living room and the hallway are full of cracking Super Junior members who, in Heechul’s opinion, should all suffer a slow and painful death.

He huffs indignantly before going back to his bedroom, but he can still hear the others laughing and making unbearable comments about one of the few times that they got to prank him. Heechul already knows that this is going to last for days, even after he paints the door back to its original color, without that phrase on it. He needs to plan a way to get back at them, but right now he’s very distracted by the fact that Hankyung is awake and looking at him with sleepy, but still fond eyes.

“What was all that screaming?” he asks, as Heechul walks to the bed and sits in front of him. Hankyung has already covered himself with the sheets, something that Heechul finds unfortunate, but the knowledge that he can deprive his lover of any and all covers comes quickly to him, so he lets Hankyung show some decency if he wants.

Heechul weights the possibility of telling him about the prank right away, but chooses not to. He would whine about his members and make a scene, and he doubts that’s something Hankyung would consider sexually appealing. “Nah, nothing worth mentioning now,” he ends up saying, and Hankyung’s expression says that he doesn’t believe him, but he doesn’t pressure it either.

“You’re wearing my shirt,” Hankyung muses aloud, as he pulls Heechul to him and gives him a brief kiss, morning breath be damned.

“Can I keep it?” Heechul lets Hankyung embrace him and tries not to react to it the wrong way. His body, however, has other ideas, since the sheets-and his clothes-are the only thing between him and Hankyung’s naked body.

“You’d keep it even if I said no, right?” he provokes Heechul, who just smirks against his neck, silently acknowledging that as being true. “Of course you can. But I want something in return.”

“Oh?” Heechul is surprised, because Hankyung doesn’t usually propose bargains like this.

Hankyung has a silly smile on his face when they look at each other, though. “I want to keep you, Hee.”

“For a shirt? Is that how much I’m worth?” He has to break the mood, for he fears he might explode from the feeling of joy spreading through his chest.

Hankyung just chuckles, fast to see past his words, as per usual. “Okay, how about showering together, then?”

“I was going to suggest that,” Heechul frowns, a little amazed at their mutual understanding. “So, get up. I want to see you walk to the bathroom…from behind.”

Hankyung laughs again, tightening his hold on Heechul before letting him go and getting up. “Who’s the pervert now?”

Heechul takes some time to answer, devouring Hankyung’s body with his eyes before trying to form coherent thoughts. “Shut up and get moving, you lazy ass.”

“I’ll show you who the lazy ass here is,” Hankyung retorts, but he’s already walking to the restroom and the only thing Heechul can do right now is stare.

“Looking forward to it!”
