Its all about the way you percieve life mike. Don't think of it as if your gonna die, but what your going to accomplish while your still alive. Thinking bout this shit is a waste of time. Of coarse your gonna die one day. Everyone will. get over that shit and find something you like to do and pursue it. You only live once ;)

Well, yes. Would you feel better if you weren't going to die? I think I rely on the certainty of eventual death to keep me sane.

its more like a shadow that hangs over shit for me.
what if i invent something that takes 100 years to perfect.
ill die never knowing if it happened.

granted im not much of an inventor, and even if i was i wouldnt make something that i couldnt get immediate results from, but thats really the only example i can think of.

oh man, your entry made me sad.

it's normal, i think, to think about things like that at night. you shouldn't let it completely control your life, though, like having it prevent you from sleeping and such.

when i realize things like that, it makes me want to go out and live life with the time i have left, you know?

perhaps death shouldn't be viewed as something that's negative, but rather a reminder that we have a limited amount of time in this lifetime, so we should take advantage of it.

immortality would make life seem a bit meaningless and insignificant, because we only hold precious the things that are difficult to grasp onto.
