I'm more scared than excited. All my friends (now talking about AFI mates, not school mates etc.) seems to be so excited about upcoming AFI appearances at the European festivals in August and waiting for more dates to be announced. I just cant get hold of that feeling. Yet

Hmm...I get where you're coming from. I was feeling like this with DU because I had been so appointed by other bands when it came to new albums. But eventually, you just gotta trust them. You love them for a reason and so you can't assume they're out to disappoint people.

Having said that, I will never understand what people's problem with Miss Murder and / or Love Like Winter is all about. I love those songs dearly. I wish they weren't attracting so many kids who aren't serious about it all but in the end, I don't really give a damn because the songs still speak out to me.

Plus, there's no way in hell the album's gonna be released before the festival dates so if you're really that scared of the release, you better make it to as many festival shows as possible cos it might be your last chance to catch the old setlist. ;)

you're definitely not the only one. i only go to leeds. i want to see AFI again, but i'm not excited right now. :/ i'm excited what the album will sound like, though.

it's very different from 2 years ago for me, too. i am much more anxious about planning my life than planning AFI tours.
