Or I could come and collect it from you at one of these times if that's more convenient for you, assuming it will cope with being trundled down the pavement for 5 minutes.

OK, thanks, that's useful. Slight planning difficulty of my parents are around this weekend, so not entirely sure when I will be free, but Saturday early evening (~6pm) might work.

I assume there's a default bid of "put it on freecycle or take it to the recycling centre", so in general it would be worth up to "whatever the amount of time it would take to do that is" to have someone else take it :) But the social convention says that that's taking the piss :)

(I haven't got space for any of the rest, except the ironing board, and I take perverse pride in ironing an average of one garment every two years)
