i remember when we were entering the dining hall from the mailroom side at the same time and you were wearing glasses and smiling (because of the snapping) and i thought you were funny-looking in a really wonderful way. you looked like a big sweetheart with that smile on. but then later i recognized you as the guy from dance class i had heard about when you were yelling about that architect after a lecture. it had been a while since i had heard anyone yell that loud and i braced myself for meeting you officially. and then the hippey/belt incident, but then pool and a hat and i knew you were great and really wanted to be your friend.
