-Aquarius' exhibit magic, genius, originality, eccentricity, and independance. All of this can be found in the scene Ariadne goes back into Cobb's dream to see what she can do within the dream. Not only does she take charge of his dream, but she decides she wants to poke around about him, confronting him about why he can't create (definitely rude and tactless of her). But one of the overall qualities is that she does care. Ariadne continues to plug away at Cobb's demons and even risks herself to go into Limbo with him. She's loyal to him and the team, going past the point of a work relationship to a friend. Not to mention the fact she takes this job for the expiramentation. Despite Cobb's issues, she comes back because it's so alluring to her.
Tattoo: The Aquarius symbol will be located on her left hip, two inches by two inches.
Suitability:
Power: Manipulation as per the post on powers.
Personality:
She's a know it all, but her methods work. She's quick to act, and creative. It's why what she does works. She sees what no one wants to, she does what no one is willing to do. Ariadne is unbelievably headstrong and pushy. She barely knows boundaries, willing to break out of any box. All these things make her a great dream architect. This is why Cobb came to her. He describes her as being able to pick up dream architecture faster than he's ever seen. The young architect went into his mind and created a bridge using a mirror and a walkway. This shows her creative talent at work. She's also completely relentless about finding out more about him, continuously asking him and Arthur about his past, specifically Mal, his dead wife and deadly projection, after she encountered her. She isn't willing to settle for the fact that Cobb has it "under control". She tells him what she's going to do involving herself as much as possible.
Ariadne is stubborn, but consistent. She strives for the ideals, that people can achieve what they want because she does. She knows about limitations and continues to break them. She is not naive, though she is a little green. She isn't some cute little frail thing, and she's certainly not Juno. She does try though. She doesn't give up on Cobb or the job. Even after Fischer was shot. Ariadne was the one to come up with the idea that they should go into Limbo after him. She won't let it go. She also knows that the deeper they go, the deeper into Cobb they go, and she reminds him of this. Of what he's going to have to confront before it's all over. It's why she told him she was going with them on the job. Whereas originally she was just there to design the place.
She has a need to know things, from the intellectual worth that dreamsharing provides to what happened with Mal. She owns her own world, in reality, dominating in her field as it is. Dreamsharing provides a whole new world. Which she clearly knows she can master, given enough time. She acquires knowledge and uses it. This is what makes her capable of getting things done. So she might be pushy, but she knows what it takes. Her pushiness can go too far. She invades other people's lives - especially if she thinks it's important to her. Ariadne went into Cobb's dream uninvited, because she had to know what "tests" him and Yusuf were doing. She barges into Cobb's life with the goal of fixing it - or at least holding it together long enough to get the job finished.
She's also adaptable. Give her the rules of any game, and Ariadne will master them and probably alter them. There are always do's and don't's and she'll make sure by the end of it, she'll create something new, something no one thought was possible. This is prominent in two scenes in the dream world. When she flips Paris over and when she creates the bridge. She's never seen this technology nor experienced this type of dreaming before, but she knows. She tells him what the dream is (not about aesthetics, but the feel) only after being in the dream for a short period of time. Having a background in architecture means she automatically knows the structures of things and how things work. She has to be a visualizer. She also works well with the team. We see her interacting with Yusuf and Arthur. She instructs Eames in the third level; she's creative enough to allow alterations to her plans even in the midst of the job.

[The feed switches on to a tiny looking young woman with a hard look on her face. She takes a deep breath.]
So I'm not entirely sure what my point is, being here I mean. Yeah, I get the gods part. I've figured out the tattoo and sex drugs, and the way we honor them. Sure, I feel violated, who here doesn't? But aside from that, I mean what do we all do here?
[She takes a look into the camera, trying to gauge a reaction.] Back home I was an architect. Well, almost. In reality, that is. [And that's your only realy clue as to what she does. Ariadne doesn't want to flaunt what she does, and she certainly doesn't want to advertise it in case there are others within the world who also work in the dreamscape. However if there are others, they'd understand what she meant. She was fishing here, and the look on her face was evident enough that she was hoping someone else was there. She hazzard a guess that her team wasn't there by now.]
I don't like to stay stagnant, so if anyone can use my services, please tell me. [She's not pleading, but the raise in her eyebrows means she needs to keep her hands busy.]
Also, how do dreams work here? [Ariadne tilts her head at this. Another tip off to those who know what she knows. But she was honestly wondering. She didn't know enough about the PASIV to create one, but maybe there was still a possibility... In any case, Ariadne was still really intrigued with the concepts of dreams.]
"Zodionlogs" Third-Person Prose Entry:
She'd just fallen back off of the porch of Dom's high rise. That was the last thing she remembered. Her moment of arrival had her gasping, simply because she expected to woken up in water. That however, was not the case.
The process itself wasn't all that difficult, but Ariadne watched both in shock and in wonder. On one hand, she had the typical 'what the hell is happening' reaction, but this... this was new and strange and more than a little exciting. It had her heart fluttering. What was this place?
The tattoo was even more of a shocker. Once the waters receeded, her fingers splayed over the new mark. Acquarius. Her birthday. It must have meant something significant. Not actually worried about what it meant, Ariadne wanted to know more.
And the note didn't really help. It didn't state why or how she was pulled out of a dream. Or was she? She wasn't sure. Was this some elaborate trick? Surely, they couldn't fool an architect. But nothing happened when she tried to bend the world around her. Just a faint rustling of the wind through the trees.
Right. So now she was naked and somewhere new. First step, clothes. Then she was going to see where she was and what exactly she was supposed to do. Not to help these Twelve or whatever they were called, simply because her curiosity led her on, needing to know more.
