I had a voice lesson today. It was amazing as usual... but at the same time kind of disheartening. I only sing that well when im at my lesson, or by myself somewhere. I really wish I could explain why. And I swear its not just me thinking I sound better at lessons, its like this completely different voice. In lessons if I fall into that "other"

we've just been trained our whole lives to sing incorrectly and you can't just step out into the horribly singing world and sing correctly, they can't handle it, no one even knows, it's a huge phenomenon and at the same time our wonderful little secret. you and i are doing many duets, he's already told me:)

you should come over some time and sing with me and my mom, we do it right. she plays the piano and i recreate peter's house.
