I kind of understand where you're coming from with your grandpa...my Pop (well, grandpa, but everyone called him Pop) died before I was born, and from all the stories I hear it's almost like I do know him, even though I obviously didn't. It's funny that you posted this because I was just thinking about Pop the other day and how I wish I had known him, and how I sort of missed him even though I didn't know him. And I agree, it is kind of an odd feeling. He just seemed like a really good person. I don't know as much about him as you know about your grandpa, but still. I guess because the anniversary of his death just passed in January and his birthday was the same as Jill's (aka tomorrow) but I don't know.
Anyway, that comment was kinda pointless - just wanted to let you know I get how you feel.
i like this entry. question, this is your grandfather, as in the grandma-of-yours-that-i-know's husband? i love your grandma; i bet she married someone wonderful.
i still really want to see "definitely, maybe" but my sister said it was really bad. "gone baby gone" was apparently much better, but she's biased because she's in love with casey affleck.
yeah, that would only make sense wouldn't it? I mean, my other grandma is in greece, so I dont know how many stories I'm hearing about my grandpa on that side...or if I'd even understand the stories since they'd be in greek, haha
