Need cooking help

If you had a strata recipe for an 8x8 pan but you wanted to use a 13x8 or 9 pan, would you one and half the recipe?

No, I double it. Actually, I do it the opposite way all the time. I take casseroles that call for a 9x13 inch pan and put them into two 8x8 pans.

Probably depends if you want to err on the side of having it be more or less well-done. If you want it crispy, use a bigger pan. Does that sound right?

I think I would...btw, I contacted Janelle because I sooo badly wanted a cake, you know, just to eat because I was going to be in town and all and I love cake...she's retired :(...but doing well. Just thought I'd mention it because I know she made your cake too.

I did too- she was absolutely amazing. :( She sent out a card saying she was retiring to spend more time with her family.

We were talking about her today at BC. I guess she moved up north. I never got a card. :( I would have bought one last cake.
