Dude.  Ants suck.

We had the house fumigated yesterday to get rid of them.  Finally today, there were very few ants...they came in the tub drain this morning and I'm sure they were pissed but that was it.  As opposed to yesterday when they were in 4 rooms.

I have more to update and I'm very behind reading your journals.

I hate ants just as much as you do. So glad you got your house sprayed.

figure out where they're coming in and leave a pile of cornmeal there (I do ours in the door frame between the screen & the door to keep the pets away). The ants will take it, bring it back to their nests, get sick, deem it not worthy food and cross your house off the list.

We had an exterminator come and where they are still coming in, there is no way to put cornmeal because it's on the side of the tub. BUT.....maybe Dave can put it under the house where he foudn them.

the point is, they ants are coming in looking for food. If you provide food, inedible food, they'll decide that your place isn't the right place. You could always put a bowl of cornmeal in the tub each night. When we had ants it only took like two days for this to work.

Another option, since they're coming into the bathroom (again) is to leave them a bowl of water outside. When it gets dry, it's not uncommon for ants to come in looking for water.
