So, I'm thinking about getting Dave an Ipad for his birthday. The new one just came out right? Do any of you have it? Do you have to order it? Did it take a long time? I want to walk in to an apple store and just get it. Am I dreaming? Help. I really hate buying electronics.

We have it. Taber waited in line for about three hours the day they came out. There are so many different models. They have white and black, wifi only or ones that acess the network for a monthly fee, plus there are a few different sizes... I think 16 GB and up. It wouldn't hurt to call around and ask, but I guess they are on back order for quite awhile if you order online.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the initial batch sold out. Not sure how long you'd have to wait to get one, but I think it would be an awesome gift.

Omgzaa yes, the ipad is awesome! I don't have the new one, but I do have envy, as the "old" one is not as lean and sexy as the new one, and I heart Verizon. I think it's a brilliant gift, and even if you just let him know it's coming, that's good enough ( ... )
