Rosti is actually a potato thing, kind of like hash browns. Toast might just be pain, same as bread?

That's what we thought (and some places in Toronto have potato things called rosti, so it made extra sense), but the list of things that came with the breakfast didn't include pain. It listed patates de maison (forgive me if that's spelled incorrectly), which we translated as homefries and accounts for the potato part of the breakfast. Everything else on the list was accounted for by things we could identify (easy things like feve, saucisse, jus, and ouef). Except the word rosti and the toast.

Regardless, thanks for the feedback. We had fun trying to figure it out and breakfast was greasy and good :)

Absolutely. I especially love the conversations Mark and I have while driving to Peterborough or wherever.
