Nervously, Kyujong waited outside of Bridgit's house. It was early Monday morning, and it was their tradition to walk to school together. He had finally decided to confess his feelings for her, although he wasn't sure if she felt the same way.
To heck with it, he thought as he watched her walk out and wave happily at him. He gripped tightly onto the forget-me-nots that were hidden behind his back. Kyujong licked his suddenly dry lips and waved back with one hand.
Bridgit walked down the steps towards him, and his heart leapt to his throat. She was so beautiful. Long black locks floating breezily in the light wind; brown eyes looking into his own; everything about her was so.. perfect.
Why would she ever like someone as imperfect as me? Kyujong though gloomily. It could never happen, but he needed to take hi chance.
Taking a deep breath before looking away to hide the deep scarlet blush on his face, he said as clearly as he could, with one breath, while shoving the flowers in her general direction,
"Bridgitwillyougooutwithme?"
When he finally looked up, she was staring at him like he was some sort of alien, and he stalled. His breath hitched in his throat, and Kyujong turned to run away.
"You.. want me to go.. out with you?" he heard her stammer, and his mind whirled.
Spinning around, he looked into her eyes, and shyly nodded yes. She seemed stunned, and was still staring at him. Turning away once more, Kyujong blushed an even deeper shade of red, and mumbled "You don't have to.." but he was interrupted with a squeal.
"Yes! yes! Forever yes! Kyujongie.. I've been waiting for this day, since forever!" He was quickly enveloped in a hug, and he grinned in relief, hugging her back.
"Saranghae~" He whispered, the words full of love.
