"Min.. Can I talk to you?"
Jungmin looked up from his laptop screen and grinned at his favourite hyung. "Of course you can!" He closed his laptop and patted the spot beside him on his bed. "What do you want to talk about?"
"I think.. I might like Kyujong."
Hearing those words felt like a needle piercing through his heart. Youngsaeng liked.. Kyujong? Kyujong, of all people. Having his worse thoughts confirmed turned his mind to stone. Kyujong.. Youngsaeng.. Kyujong.. Youngsaeng. He couldn't believe it.
Shaking his head a little bit to clear those thoughts, he turned back to his hyung. "Hmm."
Youngsaeng looked up at him and he sighed. Why was 'Dr. Love' asking him for advice? "Hyung.. He's liked you since forever. Why don't you just tell him?" There he said it. He knew Kyujong had liked Youngsaeng, but he had never wanted to acknowledge it. He was too immersed in his own feelings for Kyujong himself to care for the other's.
"Really?" The tone of Youngsaeng's voice had lightened up immensely.
Jungmin wasn't sure how to respond. He knew if he did, he would be tearing away his own happiness, but it was Youngsaeng. If it was anyone else, he would've shaken his head and lied that he had been joking. But it was Youngsaeng. There was no way he could deny his favourite hyung's happiness, so he just nodded his head slightly and rolled onto his stomach, hiding his face in his pillow as Youngsaeng let out a small cry of happiness.
He felt a small pat on his head before Youngsaeng left the room, taking everything he wanted with him. He rolled over onto his back, feeling the tears welling up in his eyes. He wiped them away, promising that it would be the last time he would cry about love. He would go back to acting like the cheerful Jungmin, like how he always acted.
No one needed to know how torn up he was inside.
