Last weekend, this huge-ass flood ransacked Philippines. Even Metro Manila was not safe. Even MY house was not safe. Half my house sank in the flood, we had to lift the fridge--everything just so nothing gets wet.
It went down by the next day (which was Sunday). And all was good.
Until I found out about what happened to my other friend. The whole

trust me I won't be wishing for rain anytime soon.
you know I have a friend that was just in Manila like a week ago, actually I'm not sure exactly when she left but I guess she barely missed the flooding.

LOL... in this school term, my laptop finally broke down so i couldn't really be online for a long period of time... so i had to cut back on my online social life and shit. Sorry if it got you worried... my parents gave up on my pc and they don't want to get it repaired anymore... but what the fuck... they even taunt me with things like, "now you know how hard it is without a computer" and shit like that...
gahd, i hate them to death... gah.... they could, like, buy me a smaller and cheaper computer or something... i might do my thesis after this school year so they better get me a new one...
lol, so much for ranting.... how about you? how have you been?
i'm into new stuff like Doctor Who and Merlin... BBC stuff.... my friend got me into it and that's all i ever do if i ever get my hands on a computet: go to youtube and watch Who or Merlin...

lol...
and it might come in handy if you ever get injured in your baseball gig... of all sport, why baseball?
it's easy to branch out to being a working student in the states... i have that sort of western mentality of independence, too... thing is, my parents want to keep me dependent on them until i get old...
i don't like it. there maybe benefits to living with the 'rents, but the bottom line is, they get to control you.
i'm a hippie. i hate being controlled and i love going places.
so, lol... yeah... i'm not at home again while i'm typing this.
i'm in a net shop full of college boys who spend all their school money on online games...
so there... hahaha~ it's good to hear from you in a long time...
merry christmas? LOL

i appreciate the good will, but you need to go get your own computer first before before you start worrying about mine XD
i think the 'rents are considering on buying me a new one... hope that comes true... i need to restack my pron.... lol
my good friend Julya lent me her Queer as Folk DVDs... have you heard of the series? that's what i'm doing to while away the holidays... lol.... i'm quite an antisocial.... maybe, dunno... either that or i just have a different idea of fun and the 'rents might not like how i define "fun"
so, you still working in the drug store? lol
Feliz Navidad again, mate~ oh, and a Happy New Year!

Happy 2010! It's kind of funny, I have a good feeling about this year, while I'm still getting piled on a bunch of crap that comes out of nowhere to stress me out; I feel a little different about it all, I'm not giving in to the stress. And yea, I am still working at the drug store haha.
Well once I do have money, I plan on just getting a regular laptop. Those netbooks strain my eyes, I probably need glasses, as if I have money for going to the eye doctor too.. nevermind the damn laptop XD.
I'm supposed to start school this week, if I can add the classes I'm on waiting list for, we will soon see.
How's everything going, how was the New Year Juts-chan?

but when it was exactly new year, the signal started acting funky and i could send messages... that sucked but oh well...
bitterness aside, when filipinos celebrated the new year, they prepare lots of food. the feast that families sit down in when it strikes midnight on new year's eve is called Media Noche.
then, there should be twelve kinds of round fruits on the table. it's a belief that having that on the table will bring prosperity and good luck to the family.
then, some neighbors light fireworks XD
when you're a short kid, elders will tell you to jump as high as you can so that you can be taller in the coming year... lol... i did that when i was a kid, didn't work.
i'm already 18 and i'm still 5'2''... LOL
and about getting your eye checked... body parts are a priority. laptops will stay in the shelves, but you only got one pair of eyes.
