Quickie update. 2008 Streetcar Showdown car show was kinda lame. I don't know if it's because of the hard economic times but the turnout was very poor and I think the 'magic' is just not there anymore. In it's glory days, it was like one huge party. There was a lot of excitement even before the shows about who would be unveiling their secret

I vote for a return of the hot rods and muscle cars. I would much rather see that trend than more imports and low riders. Although, we do have a Nissan dealer that carries the Skyline now. I would not mind one bit owning a Nissan Skyline.

Yups I hear ya...in fact there is a small hot rod show at the end of the month...they seem to hold their own throughout the years. There was a Skyline at the show this past weekend-those cars are sleek and sexy!
