This is hilarious stuff! You can just see those little hands unwrapping the gum, and his little mouth joyfully chewing and chewing! The innocent honesty in his answer as he points to his tongue! He must have been so proud to say, "I eat it all gone!" Can you imagine the look on Nathan's face as his "booTAY" is raised up for his father's approval? We are still laughing out loud! (I must confess a fear that your mother may realize a novel approach to some of the aromas that eminate from our household)
oops, I just saw your comment. I am at 11 weeks (12 on thursday). Our appointments have been about a month apart, and we're going to be in Champaign during when our next one should be. So we have to wait until Nov. 2 which will be 17 weeks for our next ultrasound. We should be able to tell the sex then for sure. Although, we are both totally convinced that it's a girl. Oh, I can't wait. I've been day dreaming about how good baby heads smell.
Oh my goodness this story does my heart good. I'm laughing out loud at my silly silly nephew!
Andrew has gotten into my gum before, but he is afraid of it once he puts it in his mouth...he spits it out and whines loudly. Maybe it is a "scared now that mommy knows I got into her gum" whine.
