Not entirely true. She doesn't want the money so she can get rich off it--she wants it to go to a charity that helps people with muscular atrophy (which her son has).

Interesting, although not quite sure that using lawyers and a lawsuit is the smartest way to get her point across. I haven't seen much follow up on this story though.

Suspect it's because it was C&P'd from the news article without stripping out the formatting first. LJ isn't too clever about that.

Well, it works if one pastes into the HTML editor, as that one removes all the formatting. The Rich Text Editor will assume that one wants to keep the formatting, and do its best to preserve it.
