this is a random question, and probably shows my age...but, any other law school mock trialers on here? if so, which tournament are you doing this spring ( Read more... )

hehe...i felt old enough around here when i was a college mock trialer, but i'm such a trial junkie that i couldn't *not* join an LJ community about mock trial. :)

Well, I start law school on Wednesday, and I am *planning* on doing Mock Trial. :) What year are you? Maybe we'll cross Mock Trial paths sometime.

i am a first year at Wash U, so i hope to be doing this law school mock thing for a nice long time. :)

Cornell doesn't have mock trial, so we get moot court instead.

My school only has one team of 6 people - five 3Ls and one 2L. Unfortunately I'm not that one 2L. My moot court partner and I are working on getting more than one team going since there are multiple competitions, etc, because when 50 people try out for only a couple of spots there are a LOT of disappointed former mock-trialers...

wow...fifty tryouts for six slots? that's crazy...and, i agree, too few slots for that much interest. good luck getting another one started!
