There was not one single snowflake when I left downtown at 4:30. By the time I hit the Lake City Way exit, it was hailing and by the time I made it 15th Ave it was blowing snow. I think it was 1996, when we had that big snowfall - I got a bus from Bellevue to Lake Forest Park, managed to get my car out of the parking at LFP, and made it half-way up the 145th St hill, where I abandoned the vehicle someplace before 25th, and walked home from there. Lots of pillowy snow that night, not much ice 'till later.
I'm going to try to get to the office tomorrow morning - may need skates, tho!

I'm at work today -- the buses had chained up this morning and the U almost never closes. Sigh.
That's quite a hike -- good thing you work out regularly!
