It can happen to anyone, when things keep screwing up: calls for the comfort of friends went unreturned, finally getting everyone together backfired by leaving all unsatisfied, and I construed the disappointment, magnified it, and took it on myself. What's the Japanese word for "Let's all do our best" or whatever?

For me at least, concern needs to be more reactive than faith, which in times of need just focuses on things turning out well with recovery quick and costs small and in times of peace just needs to be basked in.
Maybe faith should be constant, and allowed to grow linearly by being reinforced, and concern should be reactive and vigilant around transitional times that are ominous.
