Describe your personality: I kind of have a skewed perception of myself, haha. I tend to only see the "bad" aspects of my personality, the parts that I need to work on. Maybe it's because whenever those are pointed out to me I tend to dwell on them, but when the "good" side is pointed out to me I tend to deny it. I'm one of those who can't take compliments, haha. But let's see... I try to be a good friend. I'm extremely loyal and empathetic, and once you're my friend I really consider you to be a friend for life. I'd do anything to help out my friends and protect them, no matter what. I often put aside my own needs to help others because I just can't NOT help someone, haha. I'm also pretty smart (although I have my moments) and creative. I can also be a bit strong-willed (stubborn is more like it) although I'm very open-minded as well.
On the flip side, I AM pretty stubborn and I don't like being told what to do. If I want to do something, I want it to be on MY terms because I wanted to do it, not because someone told me to. I also tend to get really sarcastic. And sometimes I can get really crabby, especially when I'm tired or hungry. Yeah, I'm definitely crabby when I'm hungry. I'm super indecisive, and part of this is because I get torn from wanting EVERYONE to be happy to simply not caring much one way or the other.
What kind of person would you project yourself to be for the games? I think I would probably pull a Johanna Mason and let everyone think that I wasn't a strong player so they wouldn't target me first, and then sneak up on them and BAM. Win the games.
Positive traits: I am compassionate, friendly, loyal, creative, honest, smart, independent, romantic, helpful
Negative traits: I'm very stubborn, sarcastic, indecisive, reserved, introverted, irritable, and a BIG procrastinator
Likes: Reading, watching movies and tv, good music, being with my friends and family, playing with my dog, shopping, baking, drinking coffee
Dislikes: Ticks, oranges, being in deep water, being less than perfect (it happens frequently, which is why I get so down on myself)
Best quality: My compassion, I think
Worst quality: My self-doubting tendencies.
What do you value most?: Hmmm... I think I might go with loyalty, but I'm not sure.
THIS OR THAT
Optimistic or Pessimistic: I definitely have my pessimistic tendencies but for the most part, I'm pretty optimistic
Reserved or Outgoing: I've gotten SO much more outgoing, but there are a lot of situations where I can be very reserved. Overall? I'd actually say outgoing.
Trusting or Cynical: This also depends. I don't trust easily, but I think I trust more than I mistrust.
Impulsive or Cautious: A bit more cautious.
Adventurous or Homey: Adventurous! But I do like coming back home after an adventure. I just don't want to be stuck here my whole life.
Stoic or Openly Emotional: I am EXTREMELY emotional... but I don't like to show it. And I hate talking about my emotions. So on the outside, I am definitely more stoic but I'm a melting pot of emotions under my skin.
Selfish or Selfless: I try to be selfless, but I am definitely a little bit selfish. I think we all are, tbh.
Leader or Follower: I'll lead if I have to, but I also won't blindly follow anyone. I prefer to forge my own path and do what I want. :)
Calm or Temperamental: Calm, definitely.
SITUATIONAL
A close friend/relative of yours has been selected for the Hunger Games! How would you react? It depends. How close are they to me? How likely are they to win? If I had someone like Prim, I could see myself stepping forward and volunteering in their place. But if they were equally qualified as I was, or maybe a more distant friend or relative? Then tbh, I probably wouldn't volunteer for them but I would do everything I could to help them out back at home.
You find a fugitive from another District on your territory. What would you do? Find out what they're running from, and help them if I could. I would definitely give them some food or shelter, at least.
How willing would you be to kill if you were in the Games? What if it was your best friend? I don't think I could kill my best friend. I don't think I could directly kill anybody, to be honest. I think I might be able to to something like set tracker jackers on them or other kinds of traps, but I don't know if I could hurl a knife into someone's chest or anything like that.
It's your first day in The Hunger Games and everyone is gathered at the Cornucopia. You spot your weapon of choice right out in the open, but you know there's going to be a bloodbath. What do you do? Run the other way! If I can try to snag some supplies that are in my path then I would do it, and then get the hell out of there.
What would your weapon of choice be? POISON, bahahha. It's the cleanest and sneakiest. Actually, and I hate to say this but with regards to my answer about killing people, I think I could definitely poison some of them if I had the opportunity.
A fellow tribute has approached you asking for friendship, what would be your first reaction? I would be suspicious, that's for sure. At least at first. If it was like, a Career, I don't think I'd ever trust them but I might be able to trust someone else, I really don't know. I'd definitely have my guard up.
You're hiding up a tree when you spot the Career Pack coming and they're below you, although they seem to not notice you yet. What would you do? Stay silent and hope they don't hear me.
You're starting to get thirsty and you suspect that there won't be another water source up ahead. You have no choice but to head back to the first lake you're spotted. Would you risk being spotted by other tributes to go back? I would probably go on for a little while, but eventually I'd probably have to go back to the first lake. I'd try to sneak around and do it at night or something, though.
Your stomach has been empty for quite some time now and you're starting to feel tired from the lack of food. You spot some berries nearby but they look foreign to you. What do you do? I might wait a little while, trying to see if someone else might eat them or if a bird does or something. If there was absolutely nothing else, though, and I was starving, then I might risk eating them.
You've won the games! What do you think led you to your victory? A LOT of help from sponsors and a ton of good luck.
What's the most important thing for you when you're in the Games? I would hopefully just want to be someone that my family and district could be proud of. Survival is pretty darn important too, haha.
THE BOOKS
Have you read The Hunger Games? If so, did you enjoy it? Yes! I enjoyed them very much, and I loved the movie, too.
What was your favorite part? Hmmm. Either the first or second arenas, I don't know. I can't make up my mind, haha.
Who was your LEAST favorite character? I never liked Coin much at all.
Anyone you prefer not to get? (Please limit this to 2 characters and give valid reasons why you're not like them) Ummm, nah, I don't really care.
Anything else? I don't think so! Thanks for reading and voting.
