I really should write in my LJ more, but don't because I worry that anything I may have to say is far too ordinary and boring. Which then makes me feel ridiculous. I can empathise with you on this. The fear of appearing boring, the inevitable depression and retreat which comes from setting deadlines. I came to the same decision about the ambivalent approach. I still worry about the reader to some extent, but it feels good to just push through it, type it all down, hit "POST" and go about my day.

Thank you. I hope to write more. And in some way in writing about wanting to write more, I'm hoping that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy of sorts. If anything, my desire to live up to expectations will make me want to write more! (I'm such a nut case!)

Wow, you just encapsulated how I feel about posting: as if "who should care about this?" I just feel uninteresting and ineloquent when I step up to the plate.
