pounding

i have a headache. None one of my usual migraines (for which I have scads of my Rx tyvm). NO, this is one of those insidious headaches that starts at the nape of your neck and then wraps its tentacles around your head until you can feel your eyeballs with every blink. Ouch, your headache does sound really nasty. Maybe you should do some yoga AND take the painkillers.

Well the stretching seemed to help for a little while at least...actually it was probably the Tylenol...gah

That's the way all my migraines are. Sometimes one side, sometimes the other, sometimes both. In fact, one of the ways I can tell that an incipient headache is not a migraine is that it doesn't start at the nape of my neck.

BTW, I've gotten great improvement since I started supplementing 500mg of magnesium a day and 400mg (200mg twice daily) of Vitamin B2 (riboflavin). I got even better improvement when I added Cymbalta to the mix.

My migraines start in a shoulder blade and then work their way up my neck, around my ear and into my eye socket....always unilateral. (shuddering at just describing it). I'll have to try the supplements, I've heard good things elsewhere about magnesium and migraines.
