You Know You're Getting Old When...

...You watch a grandkid graduating from high school! First in Jessie’s family since he graduated in 1968! Anyway, we went to DU’s Magness Arena at the Ritchie Center and watched the Eagle Crest graduating class of 2009. Amazing.

Tonight is a grandson's graduation party, and tomorrow afternoon, a granddaughter's graduation BBQ. Busy week.

Maybe if you call E, you can just listen. Sometimes it's just knowing someone's there to hear you that can more difference than you know.

You're right, I think. My major problem stems from wanting to "fix" things and some things just aren't fixable.At least not by me. I keep reminding myself that my life isn't her life and I shouldn't expect her to react to her raised-by-wolves family the way I would.

She has no cyber-friends to bounce things off, which is too bad. Ya'll have saved my sanity a time or three!

Yeah, if we all had the same script, life would be so much easier sometimes.

From personal experience I've found my cyber friends much more helpful than family on many occasion.

I hope you can help your friend if she needs it by listening. It's amazing how helpful that can be.
